Registered Spelling to Communicate Practitioner
Staci graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2003 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a licensed Physical Therapist and Registered Spelling to Communicate Practitioner. Staci is also the proud mother of a non-speaking autistic who learned S2C at the age of 12 in 2021 and now openly communicates all his thoughts, ideas, and feelings on absolutely everything. It was such an impactful journey for her son and their entire family.
Experiencing a paradigm shift in rethinking autism was so powerful and she continues to learn from her son and the spelling community who share their own unique experiences with S2C and brain-body disconnect.
Staci pursued the practitioner program through the International Association for Spelling as Communication (I-ASC) to teach S2C to others who do not have a reliable method of communication. Communication is a right and imperative in order to live an autonomous, fulfilling life!
Staci enjoys spending time with her family, bike riding, walking, weightlifting, drinking coffee, and reading books and blogs written by the real experts: the non-speaking advocates!
Registered Spelling to Communicate Practitioner
Wil Warren is a S2C practitioner who is ready to help non speakers and their families. He graduated with double B.A degrees in business and communications from the University of Puget Sound.
After many successful years in his career as a medical sales manager, he was inspired by William, his son who is a speller, and the spelling community, to pursue becoming a S2C practitioner.
Experiencing the life changing impact that gaining reliable, open communication had on his son and his family made Wil eager to connect and share with others who have yet to hear their loved ones voices. Outside of spelling, Wil is an avid sports fan, especially of the Seattle Seahawks, and loves to spend time with his family and workout.
